Palettone PUR achieves the highest abrasion wear rating Group T (EN 660 Part 2), EN ISO 10581 Type I.
Following an individual assessment from BRE Global, Palettone PUR achieves an A+ rating in major sectors such as health, education, and retail (ENP472).
Palettone PUR is 100% recyclable and contains 25% recycled material. Ideally suited for heavy traffic areas, Palettone PUR is recommended for use throughout commercial interiors, healthcare, and education facilities, as well as retail outlets.

Supply and install 2.00mm x 2.00m Polyflor Palettone PUR homogeneous monolayer vinyl sheeting with PUR polyurethane reinforcement cross linked and UV cured surface treatment, manufactured in accordance with ISO 10581 (EN 649) and installed with Polyflor recommended adhesive which has been spread using an A2 notched trowel on a previously prepared Class 1 subfloor in accordance with SANS 10070, using a Polyflor recommended self-leveller and moisture barrier when required, including all cutting and waste, rolling the installed sheeting in both directions with a 68kg three-sectional roller immediately after it has been laid into the adhesive, joints must be butted, U-shape grooved and heat welded using Polyflor’s matching welding rod ensuring that the welding rod bonds to more than 2/3rds of the sheet in thickness, available from Polyflor (011) 609 3500.

Comprehensive Specification
Supply and install Polyflor Palettone PUR flexible PVC sheet flooring in 2.0mm thickness, homogeneous and monolayer in construction, and shall be manufactured by calendering and pressing, to ensure a dense, smooth surface and non-directional design, shall incorporate a specially formulated polyurethane reinforcement, to significantly reduce maintenance costs, shall conform fully with the requirements of EN 649/EN ISO 10581, must have a Use Area Classification of 23/34/43, as defined in EN 685/EN ISO 10874, in respect of flame spread, the flooring shall have been fully tested to EN 13501-1 and certified as having Class Bfl-S1, shall have been fully tested to ASTM E648 and certified as having passed with a Class 1 rating, making it suitable for use in institutional, commercial and public buildings. The flooring shall also have been tested to ASTM E662 and have a result of <450, with regard to EN 13893 for slip resistance, the flooring shall be classified DS, making it suitable for use in areas which are predominantly dry, but with occasional spillage, must have been fully tested for abrasion resistance to the Frick Taber test EN 660-2 and be in abrasion group T, as defined in EN 649, with regards to EN ISO 10581 the product shall be classified Type I, must possess a valid Agrément certificate when laid in accordance with the instructions of Polyflor, with coved skirtings and welded joints, does not accumulate static charges above 2kV and is classified as ‘antistatic’ when tested to EN 1815.
