Overview

Combining influences from natural textures like wood and stone through to contemporary modern living materials, the Secura collection of 18 wood, stone and abstract designs has been developed to enhance domestic interiors using authentic and inspiring patterns, whilst offering the practicality and durability that comes from luxury vinyl sheet flooring.

The Secura collection has been designed to be used in every room in the home. Innovative maintenance and slip resistance technology, together with an eclectic array of traditional and contemporary designs provides a finish that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Secura can be installed over underfloor heating. Please note it is recommended that underfloor heating systems are commissioned prior to the flooring being installed to ensure the heating system is operating correctly.

BoQ Specification

Supply and install Secura PUR flexible PVC sheet flooring in 3.0mm thickness, heterogeneous in construction with a 0.35mm clear PVC wear layer, incorporating a specially formulated polyurethane reinforcement, to significantly reduce maintenance costs, accordance with EN ISO 26986 (EN 653) and installed with a Polyflor recommended adhesive which has been spread using an A2 notched trowel on a previously prepared Class 1 subfloor in accordance with SANS 10070, using a Polyflor recommended self-leveller and moisture barrier when required, including all site formed skirtings(to architect’s specifications) installed with PC20 Cove Former and CS48 Capping Strip, including cutting and waste, rolling the installed sheeting in both directions with a 68kg three-sectional roller immediately after it has been laid into the adhesive, joints must be butted, U-shape grooved and heat welded using Polyflor’s matching welding rod ensuring that the welding rod bonds to more than 2/3rds of the sheet in thickness, available from Polyflor (011) 609 3500.

Comprehensive Specification

Supply and install Secura PUR flexible PVC sheet flooring in 3.0mm thickness, heterogeneous in construction with a 0.35mm clear PVC wear layer, incorporating a specially formulated polyurethane reinforcement, to significantly reduce maintenance costs, accordance with EN ISO 26986 (EN 653), the in-use classification must be at least 23/32/41 as described in EN 685 and EN ISO 10874: i.e. domestic areas with intense use; commercial areas with medium traffic; and general light industrial areas, when tested to EN ISO 10140-3 (EN ISO 140-8), the product should achieve an impact sound reduction of 19dB, with regards the EN 13893 test for slip resistance, the flooring shall be classified DS, making it suitable for use in areas which are predominantly dry but with occasional wet spillage, when tested to DIN 51130, the flooring shall be classified as R10. For safety flooring with sustainable wet slip resistance, refer to the Polysafe ranges, in respect of flame spread, the flooring shall have been fully tested to EN 13501-1 and certified as having Class Bfl, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1≥8kW/m2 and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass, when tested to EN 423 (ASTM F 1303-99), the flooring should achieve excellent chemical resistance, in respect of light fastness, the flooring shall have been fully tested to EN 105-B02 Method 3 as having a pass to ≥6, the product must have been fully tested for abrasion resistance and meet the requirements of abrasion Group T, as defined in EN 653, in respect of residual indentation, the flooring shall have been fully tested to EN ISO 24343-1 (EN 433) as having a pass to <0.2mm, when tested to ISO 16000 series AgBB VOC test, the flooring shall have passed, giving a low result. Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold Approved, the flooring must be available in 2m, 3m and 4m widths, including a 0.01-meter selvage for onsite trimming, to minimise the number of joints, this product does not accumulate static charges above 2kV and is classified as ‘antistatic’ when tested to EN 1815.
